Several hundred people attended last Monday evening’s vigil for Tina Satchwell (nee Dingivan) in Fermoy Town Park. Having been treated as ‘a missing person’ for almost 6 years, Tina’s remains were found at her home in Youghal last week, following extensive searches by An Garda Siochana.

Tina, a native of Fermoy, spent much of her life in St. Bernard’s Place. Popular and with a great sense of fun, she loved dogs and walked them regularly around the town. Friends and neighbours also recall her sense of style.

TINA WAS ‘DEEPLY LOVED’

Speaking on behalf of the family at the vigil, Shirley Keegan touched on these themes, adding that, Tina was ‘deeply loved by family and friends in Fermoy’. Explaining that she was speaking on behalf of the Dingivan family, Shirley said the support from the people of Fermoy meant a lot.
