Knockadea Community & Sports Club hosted a very enjoyable afternoon of motocross action on Sunday last. Organisers had the comfort of knowing the day would be fine and a good sized crowd turned up to see some top class motorbike and quad action over a cross country course.

Club members were out in force and the event was well stewarded. The races also served as a fundraiser for St. Joseph's Foundation in Charleville and the club were delighted to lend their support to this most deserving of causes.

The refreshments marquee, which was set up adjacent to the bikers' paddock did great business during the course of the afternoon and plenty of tables and chairs were provided for the comfort of patrons. The food and beverages available were also very modestly priced which everyone appreciated.

Motocross participants, many of whom were very young, were full of praise for this picturesque venue and even though most of them know each other, they still did all in their power to get over the finishing line in first place.

Knockadea Community & Sports Club is run on a completely voluntary basis and great credit is due to these dedicated individuals who gave so freely of their time for the betterment and advancement of their area.
