Young sportspeople honoured in Ballyduff

2025 proved to be a very successful year for juvenile teams in Ballyduff Upper. Club officials were keen to mark the occasion and a medals presentation took place recently in St. Michael’s Parish Hall.

Here, young players (girls and boys) across a variety of age groups were honoured. Indeed, the ladies football and camogie teams are going great guns at the moment, with ‘the girls from the west’ respected throughout the county for their skill, fitness and determination. They have excellent role models in U23 camogie players, Molly Kenneally and Ailish O’Donovan and the very dynamic, Maeve Daly, who has worked her way on to the Waterford Senior football panel. All 3 were present at the function and assisted with the presentation.
