With ‘Storm Betty’ out of the way and thanks to a welcome bit of fine weather, last Sunday’s ‘Fermoy Goes Country’ was able to go ahead unhindered.
A late surge in ticket sales, allied to those who purchased ‘at the gate’, ensured numbers attending were well up on last year.
A fundraiser for Fermoy GAA, officers, players, members and supporters were out in force to assist with what was an extensive event.
Together with professional security personnel, ‘Team Fermoy’ ensured patrons had a safe, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable afternoon in Páirc MacGearailt (Michael Fitzgerald Park).
