Two of Fermoy’s secondary school principals are due to step down from their roles this year, having announced their retirements. While their experience will be a considerable loss, both are confident of bright futures for their respective schools.
At Loreto Secondary School, principal Orla Forde confirmed that she will be retiring, having been at helm for approximately 8 years.
Coláiste an Chraoibhín will also be bidding farewell to principal, Rose Desmond, who has spent around 14 years educating students at the popular Fermoy school.
