Tallow native, Pat Daly, is set to be honoured at Croke Park on Friday, after 44 years of service to the association as the head of Games Development and Research.

During his time, Pat has overseen some of the most recognised and successful developments within the GAA, including the foundation of Go Games, Cúl Camps and coaching conferences, which by 2020, had become the longest-running and biggest coaching conference in the world.

Throughout his career, the Tallow man has focused on ensuring a child-centered approach to underage structures, putting emphasis on personal and interpersonal development through Gaelic games, and also instilling the values of volunteering and giving back, something which he continues to focus on to this day.

Looking back on his time, however, Mr Daly credits his love for GAA on his upbringing in Tallow, learned through both club and school.
