Fears of potential job losses at Silver Pail Dairy have been allayed somewhat this week with news that the company is understood to have recently seen a number of potential buyers interested in the business and that a preferred bidder has now been selected.
This week, Independent.ie reported that a formal scheme of arrangement is thought to be sealed and presented to the High Court next week for the purchase of the business.
However, it is not known at this stage who the successful bidder is.
