The countdown to INDIE22 is on and locals will see the set-up emerge in Mitchelstown a little earlier for this year’s festival.
Local festival stalwart Shane Dunne, spoke with The Avondhu this week to talk about how the current labour shortages and the emergence of the industry from the pandemic will shape this year’s music festival.
“We’re really happy with the line-up this year and we’re expecting a slightly smaller crowd, at about 12,000 every day rather than previous years when it was more like 15,000.
"Everything is pretty similar to our last festival in 2019, but based on feedback we’ve moved a few things, like the drop-off points for taxis, etc.”
