Repeated 245 bus cancellations highlighted

A call has been issued to the management of Bus Éireann and the National Transport Authority to visit Fermoy and ‘see the people that are left behind’ following repeated cancelled services. 

“There is a lack of management, a lack of oversight, and no respect for the travelling public. They are the most important services in the morning between 6am and 9.30am. They need to improve,” said local activist, Joe Tobin

Mr Tobin, has spoken out about the ongoing cancellations to the 245 bus service which travels the Clonmel to Cork route, taking in Fermoy and Mitchelstown along the way.
