A decision on whether Tallow Horse Fair will go ahead in 2021 is yet to be made amidst the recent cancellations of a number of horse fairs elsewhere.
The fair, which normally takes place on September 3, is attended by hundreds of visitors each year and along with horses, the fair features a number of stalls and traders.
With the advent of Covid-19, the 2020 Tallow Horse Fair was cancelled, a decision taken by Waterford City and County Council following consultation with An Garda Síochana.
