Bo Bainne – finally home to graze again

The cow sculptures, officially known as Bo Bainne, returned ‘home’ to Fermoy on the Moorepark roundabout in recent days.

Two of the three landmark cow sculptures, created by artist Lynn Kirkham of The GreenMantle, have undergone extensive repairs after they were badly damaged last year, while the third piece has been refurbished. 

Reinstalled on Saturday, Ms Kirkham told The Avondhu that she is delighted to see the sculptures back in place.
