Glowing tributes have been paid to the inspirational young people working to make their communities a better place, at the Cork North Garda Youth Awards.
The awards event was held in the Charleville Park Hotel last Thursday and 170 people were in attendance, as 11 awards were presented.
The winners were from all over North Cork region. Winners within The Avondhu readership area included Laura Tobin Campbell from Ballyhooly, Adam Carleton from Doneraile and the Conna Foroige Club.
