Castletownroche GAA do planning and organisation very well. An example of this was their recent hosting of Glen Rovers and Kanturk – a much anticipated clash between the Blackpool kingpins and the north Cork representatives. The match attracted a massive crowd with everything running like clock work.
Another factor in Castletownroche securing such high profile games is the quality of their facilities. These facilities have been further enhanced with the transformation of their old dressing rooms into a fully equipped modern gym, which was officially opened by Avondhu GAA Board chairman, John Courtney, last Saturday evening.
In his remarks, John described Castletownroche’s facilities as ‘one of the best in the county’.
