A man who has given outstanding service to Shanballymore GAA was honoured at a function held in Irwin’s Bar, Shanballymore last Saturday night.
A large crowd of family, neighbours and friends turned out to recognise the contribution of Michael Burke to Shanballymore GAA.
At the function, Michael was presented with the club’s prestigious Hall of Fame award.
Club chairman Kenneth ‘Winston’ Barry, outlined Michael’s long association with the club.
