Rathcormac was Beaver central as groups from throughout north Cork assembled in Rathcormac last Sunday morning for several hours of running, jumping, pulling and diving – that was before the fun, the games and the myriad of activities these young boys and girls thrive on.

It’s all quiet in Rathcormac’s former national school as the ‘masses’ have moved across the way to a state-of-the-art facility.

All that changed last Sunday morning as Beaver brigades from Rathcormac, Mallow, Mitchelstown, Kanturk, Kilworth, Glanworth, Fermoy, Charleville and Doneraile took up residence.
