Three charged with murder of Doneraile local

A man and two teenagers have been charged in connection with the murder of local postman and father, Barry Daly, following the discovery of his body in Doneraile town, in the early hours of Sunday, October 12.

The body of Mr Daly, aged 44, was found outside his home at Rockview Terrace after emergency services were called to an incident at around 2am on Sunday morning.

Assistant State Pathologist, Dr. Margot Bolster, was contacted to attend the scene where the body of the deceased remained following the discovery. Following the completion of a post-mortem examination earlier this week, the investigation was upgraded to a murder case. Results of the post-mortem examination, gardaí said, are not being release for operational reasons.
