The staff at Ballyvolane House, Castlelyons are coming back down from 'cloud nine' after what was a whirlwind week of excitement and expectation, having had the privilege of hosting Prince Charles and his wife Camilla during their Royal visit to Cork last weekend.
Proprietors Justin and Jenny Green have looked after many a famous face at Ballyvolane in the past, but this is surely one for the memory book.
Justin Green said it was a privilege to have played host to them, describing it as 'an incredible few days'.
“They are utterly charming. The Prince of Wales presented us with a bottle of Highgrove Organic Gin and we gave him a bottle of Bertha's Revenge Gin."
