Stretching the legs in Ballyduff

The present cold snap isn’t ideal for everything, however, it’s perfect walking weather. Rowing in behind the television series, ‘Operation Transformation’ and having signed up to the ‘Irish Life Every Step Counts’ challenge, individuals and clubs in Ballyduff Upper have commenced a six week walking campaign.

We linked up with the walkers last Monday evening in the impressive surroundings of Ballyduff Community Field. There was a fine turnout, with a range of ages represented. On a chilly, still evening in west Waterford, participants set off individually, in couples and in groups.
