Louise is bringing her exciting show to the Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown on Friday, June 2nd as one of the venues in her sure to be sell-out Countrywide Tour to celebrate her amazing milestone in country music.
This multi-award winning artist is admired and respected as one of Ireland’s greatest female singers and performers. Louise is known and much loved throughout Ireland, the UK and the US where she has entertained audiences and received numerous Awards and accolades including the prestigious European Country Music Gold Star Award. This wonderful concert will have something to please everyone. Her long-time friend and great character TR Dallas with his huge hits ‘It’s Hard to be Humble’ and ‘Daddy’s Girl’ will be a great favourite. Des Willoughby one of the extremely talented Willoughby Brothers/Celtic Brothers will delight with his touching rendition of ‘Isle of Hope’ ‘The Prayer’ and ‘Boolavogue’.
Also performing will be Patrick O’Sullivan from West Cork who is one of the finest traditional musician and ballad singers in Munster. Ever popular Country singer Marty Daniels and great friend of Louise will get those feet tapping with all the great classics from Hank Williams and Buck Owens such as ‘You Win Again’ and ‘Stop The World’.
Louise is thrilled to have her lovely friend Sandi Gubbins join her for this very special occasion. An extremely talented singer, Sandi, who lives in Kilworth will delight with her amazing rendition of Patsy Cline classics. Backing all these wonderful guests will be the much sought after band Matrimony, easily recognisable from their many TV performances.
