
Supporters of amateur drama have been turning up in huge numbers for the 44th annual West Waterford Drama Festival in St. Michael’s Hall, Ballyduff.
Proceedings got underway last Friday night with a performance of ‘Sive’ by Holycross Ballycahill Drama Group. The opening night coincided with a visit by Waterford T.D. and Government Chief Whip, Mary Butler.
The Avondhu attended on Saturday night, where those present were entertained by the cast of Tinahely Variety Group, who staged ‘Moonglow’.
