3 Fermoy based health professionals are offering a variety of treatments for a range of illnesses. Mary Lannon, Karen Roche and Stephen Landon held an open day last weekend, which gave the public an opportunity to find out more about what’s been offered at their premises on O’Rahilly Row.

The event on Saturday last, helped highlight their respective businesses in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Mary Lannon from Doneraile is a qualifed nurse, who has practiced in both Ireland and Britain. Mary runs the Awbeg Acupuncture Clinic and specialises in women’s health. She has extensive experience in the areas of gynaecology and obstetrics.

Also operating out of 1 O’Rahilly Row, Lower Patrick Street, Fermoy (opposite Ronayne’s Undertakers) is Karen Roche from Fermoy, who promotes LighterLife – a proven weight loss (weight management) system. She has an extensive client base and a combination of Karen’s expertise and the effectiveness of Lighterlife products has helped transform lives.

Another important part of the team is Stephen Landon (Landon Acupuncture) from Clondulane. An advocate and practitioner of Chinese medicine, Stephen believes combining Eastern and Western medicine holds tremendous potential for patients. He treats a variety of disorders, including digestive issues, migraine, skin conditions, back pain and more recently, stroke rehabilitation.

A common goal for Karen, Stephen and Mary, is enhancing the physical and mental health of clients. All have a social media presence and the public are welcome to visit their premises on O’Rahilly Row near the town centre. Those who’ve availed of their services have found these dedicated professionals to be knowlegeable, helpful and empathetic.
