Mitchelstown Lions Club will host their annual coffee morning in aid of Childhood Cancer Ireland in The Ramble Inn this Saturday morning, 19th September from 10am to 12.30pm.
This follows on from last year’s highly successful event, and we would ask you all again to support this very worthy cause. The Lions Club are indebted to the generosity of Michael and John at The Ramble Inn for facilitating the event for the second year and providing teas, scones and coffees on the morning. Many other local businesses will also be donating goodies for the event.
There will, of course, also be a big raffle with some great prizes up for grabs.
Last year, we heard a father and daughter from Limerick, recount the touching story of how their family dealt with the trauma of cancer and how the ongoing support of Childhood Cancer Ireland helped them through the most difficult of times.
This year, we will hear from another family in similar circumstances, which we hope will bring home to all of us the vital work being done on a daily basis by Childhood Cancer Ireland.
Hope to see lots of people there on Saturday. Thank you all so much in advance for your support.
