Demand for the Covid booster vaccination is extremely high across the towns of Fermoy and Mitchelstown, with pharmacists reporting demand is so high as to force them to cease accepting new patients until after Christmas.
There will, however, be a walk-in clinic this coming Saturday and Sunday in Mallow Primary Healthcare Centre for the over 50s. The centre is open from 9.15am to 4.15pm, offering booster vaccinations.
As of Wednesday this week, official data confirmed that 1,291,320 booster vaccines have been administered throughout the country.
Both Lyons Pharmacy in Fermoy and Abbey Pharmacy in Mitchelstown have reported huge demand, meaning they both are now unfortunately unable to make appointments …
