Fermoy Parish in association with Billy Morrissey Events, came together to present a ‘Raise The Roof’ concert, which took place in The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown on Wednesday, 25th February – all, with a view to raising much needed funds for extensive renovations to St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy.
The project was endorsed by local cleric, Fr. Brian Boyle, who addressed the capacity crowd prior to the concert.
“Tonight is the culmination of months of planning and team work, I want to take this opportunity to thank all those involved. I want to particularly thank all of you for coming out in such numbers tonight, it’s so encouraging to see what St. Patrick’s means to the people. I’ve no doubt you will all enjoy the brilliant musicians and singers we’ve brought here tonight,” he said.
