Clogheen native, Mary O’Callaghan, will lead the way at this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade in Mitchelstown, having been selected as the 2026 grand marshal.
Probably best known locally as the former principal at CBS Primary, a role she held for 23 years, Mary has been involved with numerous groups through the years and is renowned for her energy, organisational and leadership skills – her smile and enthusiasm no doubt will bring plenty vibrancy to this year’s event. And her involvement with Mitchelstown Musical Society’s upcoming production will ensure her diary for mid-March is block booked!
