Silver Pail, one of Ireland’s leading ice-cream manufacturers based in Fermoy, is to be acquired by Spanish company, European Icecream Investments S.L. (Grupo Alacant).
Grupo Alacant is an independently managed investment subsidiary of Investindustrial VII SCSp (Investindustrial) and is one of Europe’s leading ice cream manufacturers specialising in retailer brands (private label) and co-manufacturing (branded players).
Last Thursday, February 26th, the Spanish company confirmed that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Silver Dairy Ventures Limited (Silver Pail). The combined group is expected to generate annual revenues of approximately €300 million.
