Ballyduff Gala Festival got off to a lively start and the plan is to keep the good times going this weekend. Last Sunday evening saw children out in force for the walking treasure hunt – an event that saw young people comb the village in search of all important clues.

Weather conditions were ideal and adults helped supervise ‘the hunt’. Participants returned to the community field to await the results. Here, organisers, presented winner with their prizes. Everyone who took part was congratulated.

BIG WEEKEND IN PROSPECT

The festival programme continues on this Thursday evening with a car treasure hunt and table quiz.
