The long wait for work to commence on a new car park at James Street, Mitchelstown could be at an end.
At this month’s Municipal Authority meeting, held in Mitchelstown on Tuesday, members heard the news that the project was set to get the green light and work would commence shortly.
When Cllr Deirdre O’Brien asked senior executive engineer Brendan O’Gorman was there any update on the project’s start date, he replied that work was expected to get underway ‘in the coming months’.
