Anyone considering buying a first home, moving up the property ladder or simply wanting to look at the options available will be interested in an open mortgage and property information evening being hosted by Ulster Bank Fermoy on Thursday next, February 21.

Fermoy’s Ulster Bank Manager, Brendan Healy, has assembled a range of people who’ll be present on the evening to discuss queries people may have on a range of property purchase and conveyancing matters. They will include Architect David Mulcahy, Michael O’Donovan of Sherry Fitzgerald O’Donovan Auctioneers, Pat and Noel Howard of Howard Construction, Stephen McCarthy of Carroll Solicitors and Siobhan Weir, a life and pensions expert with Ulster Bank.

“There’s been so much uncertainty in the market, people are unsure of whether it’s a good time to buy or not, whether or not the banks are lending for mortgages, what costs they can expect to incur and whether its best to buy or build, so we thought it was timely to have an information evening calling together representatives from all of the different fields so that people could have a one-stop information session at a time that suits them,” Brendan explained.

No prior appointment is necessary, people can simply go along between 6.30 and 8pm on Thursday next.
