An alleged serial burglar who has carried out dozens of break-ins across North East Cork and West Waterford has been arrested by gardai after a two year manhunt.
Early on Tuesday morning, gardai arrested a 28-year-old man in Mallow following a lengthy investigation into the thief's activities.
The alleged offences took place from May 2 to May 11, 2018 and during the pursuit at the time, the alleged thief rammed two cars including a garda car as he attempted to flee.
