Synergy Credit Union has confirmed that they have entered into a strategic merger process with Elevate Credit Union, who have branches in Glanmire, Douglas, Grange and Passage West.
The Avondhu understands that the proposed merger has been in discussion for some time, and if it goes ahead, will see expanded services on offer to members locally.
Announcing the news this week in a joint statement shared by Synergy and Elevate credit unions, the goal is to complete the merger by mid-2026.
