‘Strong engagement’ on traffic and parking proposals

Fermoy Forum reported a ‘great turnout’ at Fermoy Education Centre last week where proposed plans for traffic and parking in the town were presented to business people.

This comes as the group said that it is taking a ‘proactive approach’ to issues with traffic and parking in the town, as a range of potential solutions and proposals were put together by the group.

Speaking following the meeting, Pat Morrissey of Fermoy Forum, said that all proposed traffic and parking measures were discussed in detail at the meeting.

“It was encouraging to see such strong engagement from the local business community, and we’ve collated a wide range of views from attendees which we’ll be presenting to the elected representatives shortly,” he said.
