
The annual St Colman’s College awards night was held recently in Fermoy. Awards are presented for each Leaving Certificate subject, as well as sporting achievements, creativity, and contributions to school life. All students who received academic awards achieved a H1 in that subject.
The students who received awards on the night were recognised for the valuable contribution they have made to St Colman’s College, as well as their own personal academic achievements. Citations were read for each award recipient, which detailed the academic and personal strengths displayed while students at St Colman’s College.
The overall Leaving Certificate Student of the Year was awarded to Mark Cremin (Fermoy) and the Junior Certificate Student of the Year was awarded to Donagh Hurley (Rathcormac). The Transition Year Student of the Year was awarded to Patrick Riordan (Ballyhooly).
