Two local projects are to share in a pot of €20.5 million in funding under the most recent Rural Regeneration Development Fund allocations.
In Fermoy, The Blackwater Experience was allocated €722,873 through the scheme via Avondhu Blackwater Partnership CLG. The funding will go towards the Carrignagroghera project under the ‘tourism’ category for ‘nature based regeneration for Fermoy’. While separately, Carraig na bhFear Community, Civic and Sports Centre (CCCSC) was allocated €139,080 in funding for a new state-of-the-art multi-purpose centre.
