Sights are set on the roof of St Patrick’s Church in Fermoy, as the parish are continuing their fundraising efforts as they look towards the next phase of restoration works at the prominent landmark building in the town.
Major efforts are currently underway through ‘Win A Car Fermoy’ as ticket sales for the bumper raffle continue, with the draw to take place on October 22 at Fermoy Community Youth Centre.
Speaking with The Avondhu, Fr Brian Boyle explained that the church roof, which is the biggest part of the entire restoration, is the next key focus under the restoration.
