It is understood that the Department of Education has announcedthat extra capacity will be put on the route to cater for students in the Kildinan area, and is expected to be in place for Monday, October 9.

Last week, The Avondhu reported on the issue in which seven families saw 11 children left without a seat on the bus to Scoil Bhríde in Rathcormac, and were informed that bus tickets would not be issued as there was ‘no space’.
