Ardpatrick cyclist Oisín O’Callaghan topped the podium in Snowshoe, West Virginia last week, when he won his first World Cup mountain bike event at the penultimate UCI Downhill World Cup event of the season, with a blistering time of 3:07.624.
Speaking after the event to Eurosport, Oisin said his win was ‘surreal’.
“I think I am about to have a heart attack. I have a pain in my chest right now. The crowds are amazing, everyone, the whole way down, absolutely roaring!”
