One of the lead organisers of the Indiependence music festival has launched a scathing attack on Government, who he said has “abandoned” the festival and other events.
Shane Dunne, who is one of the country’s events management experts, lashed out at Government parties.
This week would have seen thousands of revellers throng the streets of Mitchelstown for Indie 2020 with headliners such as Stereophonics, Sigrid, The Streets and a catalogue of top end Irish talent.
Instead Shane and his team are left preparing for next year and dealing with a collapse in the event management industry.
