Focus Ireland, the charity dedicated to preventing and addressing homelessness, recently acquired ownership of a development located at Church Place, at the bottom of Barrack Hill in Fermoy.
The property, situated on the site of the former Twilight Zone, consists of a number of apartments and construction works on the building are understood to be complete with some time.
Concerns were raised recently by members of the public who noted that despite the works being complete, the units remain unoccupied. Planning permission for the development was granted in December 2021, while works on site commenced in the spring/summer of 2023.
