2018 was a breakthrough season for the hurlers of Ballygiblin, who capped a memorable North Cork campaign by winning the junior A hurling championship following victory over Shanballymore.
The club still has the valuable services of some seasoned veterans but, by and large, this is a young and skilful panel of players who have the potential to capture more silverware in the years ahead.
Players, their spouses, partners, family and friends along with club officers, mentors and sponsors were out in force for last Saturday night's victory social in The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown.
