70 year milestone marked by Carraig na bhFear ICA

The 1960s was the high watermark for the Irish Country Women’s Association (ICA).

Despite, its many challenges, the ICA is still active in several locations within The Avondhu catchment with Carraig na bhFear very much to the fore.

2019 marks the 70th anniversary of that organisation and existing members along with supporters from neighbouring guilds, were out in force at last Friday night’s dinner dance in the Vienna Woods Hotel.
