On Tuesday evening last it was the turn of Nagle Rice Secondary School, Doneraile to host parents and prospective students at their Open Night.

Despite the inclement conditions a very large crowd attended, all eager to find out more about this progressive seat of learning.

Visitors were greeted by teachers and pupils, with these pupils given an ambassadorial role as they conducted tours of the extensive campus. Every student was well briefed and tours were carried out in an efficient and friendly manner.

Working demonstrations awaited in the chemistry/physics room, the materials technology (wood work) room and home economics room, where young bakers were hard at work.
