Matthew now resting in ‘God’s loving arms’

The tight-knit community of Watergrasshill is coming to terms with the tragic passing of six-year-old Matthew Healy, whose Requiem Mass took place on Wednesday in the Church of the Immaculate Conception.  

The young boy, late of Watergrasshill, Co Cork and Ballygunner, Co Waterford, was found unresponsive in a car in the Dunmore East area of county Waterford in the early hours of Friday last, February 9 and was pronounced dead a short time later at University Hospital Waterford.  

‘FOREVER YOUNG’

Wednesday’s Requeim Mass in Watergrasshill was led by Fr Christy Fitzgerald, PP, assisted by Father Liam Power, Parish of Saint Joseph, Saint Benildus and Saint Mary, Diocese of Waterford and Lismore.
