Sinn Féin President Mary Lou McDonald will be visiting Anglesborough over the Easter weekend, as part of the Sinn Féin General Liam Lynch Centenary commemoration celebrations.
On Easter Monday, 10th April, Ms McDonald will be main speaker for the commemoration in the village at 1pm where she is also to lead the parade. Both the Liam Lynch Pipe Band from Anglesborough and the Thomas Kent Pipe Band, Castlelyons, will be attending, as will a Tipperary colour party.
Chair of the organising committee Eddie O’Sullivan, born in Glanworth, Co Cork and living in Ballylanders, Co Limerick, spoke with The Avondhu and extended an invitation to the event to one and all.
