Section 38 works for Doneraile, which are due to go to public consultation in the coming weeks, when completed will bring huge benefits to the town.
Major works are planned for three locations, including south of Turnpike Cross, on the main street near the Townhouse Café and at Cornahinch Cross.
Council officials have met with local interest groups and OPW regarding the works and plan to bring the proposed development to public consultation soon, according to Senior Executive Engineer with Cork County Council, Brendan O’Gorman.
“We believe we have a project that will bring huge benefits to Doneraile,” Mr O’Gorman said.
