As news broke of the untimely death of Irish powerhouse Sinéad O’Connor last week, tributes from across the nation began to pour in.
Among the tributes was one from Fermoy-based band, Loudest Whisper who described the musician is an ‘international Irish icon’.
Speaking with The Avondhu, Brian O’Reilly of Loudest Whisper explained that their first encounter with Sinéad was when she was a schoolgirl and visited Brian’s Studio Fiona in Fermoy where she recorded her first-ever demo album.
