IDA Ireland ‘continues to work with all stakeholders’ to secure tenants for the IDA Business Park in Fermoy, Deputy Seán Sherlock TD was informed this week by the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar.
The site, located at the former Army barracks on the northern outskirts of the town, has been lying idle now for over 18 years … despite numerous calls over the years to secure a tenant for the facility.
Tánaiste Varadkar informed Deputy Sherlock that the Fermoy Business Park is maintained as part of IDA Ireland’s property portfolio and is available to accommodate investment and development by IDA and indigenous industries.
