Great response to Knockanore trade fair

It could have been a Christmas fair, however, the hosts, members of KGK Heritage & Historical Society, opted for ‘West Waterford Autumn Craft Fair’. Regardless, the event drew a capacity crowd to Knockanore/Glendine/Kilwatermoy (KGK) Sports Hall in Knockanore last Sunday.

The event ran from noon and there was a steady stream of visitors for the duration of the afternoon. Members of KGK Heritage & Historical Society, led by influential chairman, Niall O’Brien, were out in force to look after exhibitors, do the catering and engage in some very important fundraising. It did require a bit of work and Niall was anxious to thank everyone who assisted.
