A number of Coláiste an Chraoibhín students received bronze or silver Gaisce awards recently.
Gaisce, the President’s award, is a self-development programme that encourages young people to find their passion, get active and make a difference in their community.
Current sixth year students, Kate Jenkin and James Quirke, recently received a silver Gaisce medal each.
This is a huge achievement but there is no doubt that they were encouraged and inspired by their teacher Ms Frewen, who achieved the gold Gaisce medal this year.
