One of Fermoy’s most famous residents was laid to rest recently, as Coco the guinea pig sadly passed away, aged 6 years.
Speaking with The Avondhu last week, Coco’s owner Sabrina McDonald, shared the sad news of his passing – “Coco died and it broke my heart. His wife Molly is pining away after him,” she said.
With a life expectancy of 5 years, the famous guinea pig was 6, but unfortunately was struck with a brief illness, that lead to his passing. Despite veterinary intervention, Coco passed away at his home in the care of his loving family.
